Feldmans Attend
Toronto Nuptials
Statler Is Scene of Nuptial Rites
A dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Starr of Broad-
street boulevard was the occasion for the announcement of the
engagement of their daughter Helen Sylvia to Robert R. Wolok, Son
of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Wolok of Appoline avenue. Miss Starr is
a senior at Wayne University, majoring in art education, and expects
to receive her degree in January. The wedding date is set for
Dec. 21.
Mr. and Mrs. David W. Mann of Glendale avenue announce the
betrothal of their daughter Peggy to Alfred H. Samborn, son of
Mrs. Michael Samborn and the late Mr. Samborn of Toledo. Miss
Mann's fiance is a graduate of the University of Toledo and a
member of Lambda Chi fraternity. An early fall wedding is
planned.
Announcement is made of the engagement of Betty Dora Zeid-'
man, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zeidman of Rochester
avenue, to Irving Scavron, son of Mrs. Yetia Scavron of Asbury
Park, N.J. An August wedding is planned..

of Glynn Court have returned
after attending the marriage of
their son William to Shirly
Manus, daughter of Mrs. Bessie
Manus of Toronto.
The marriage was solemnized
at the Iloly Blossom Temple and
was followed by a dinner at the
Primrose Club. Mr. and Mrs.
William Feldman are spending
their honeymoon in California
and upon their return will take
up residence in Detroit.
Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell G. Ber-
ger and their daughter Stephanie
have moved to their nevi's home
at 20200 Ardmore avenue.

At an impressive candlelight ceremony July 1 in the Wayne
room of the Hotel Statler. Shirley Ruth Weinberg, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Weinberg of Wildemere avenue, became the bride
of Irving Hugh Steinberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Steinberg of
Byron avenue. Rabbi Leon Fram united the couple in marriage.
The bride's sister, Barbara Joyce, was maid of honor, and
Dolores Mann and Barbara Schwartz were bridesmaids.- Gerald
Steinberg, the groom's brother, was best man, and Bob Steinberg.
