Plans Fall Wedding

Joseph Shifman and Mrs. Jos-
eph Levine were hostesses at a
luncheon and miscell aneous
shower at the Bel-Aire honoring
Estelle Kugler of New York

The Herzl Chapter is a Zionist
youth group formed recently in
the northwest area. It sponsors
both cultural and social events.
Its summer program will include
a weinie roast on July 13, a splash
party with dancing under the
stars on July 28 and two outings
in August.

New officers of the Young
People's Club of the Northwest
Hebrew Congregation will be in-
stalled at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at
the Synagogue.
Leaders who will be sworn into
office are Danny Standler. presi-
dent; Vera Opezman and Yale
Arfa, vice-presidents; and Phyllis
Abels, Doris Groboc and Anita
Feldman, secretaries.
Rabbi Jacob Segal will preside
at the meeting and install the
officers. Installation chairmen are
Phyllis Mich and Doris Grolier.

Herzl Chapter, Zionist Organi-
zation of Detroit, will sponsor its
first social event, a boat ride to
Bob-Lo, on Sunday, June 29.
