He has appeared in recitals from coast to coast and as soloist with such orchestras as the LOB Ange- les Philharmonic, the Detroit Symphony and the Toronto Sym- phony. In opera, Belarsky has been basso of the Chicago Civic Opera Company, the American Opera Company qf Los Angeles and the New York City Center Opera Company. The Workmen's Circle Chorus, directed by Dan Frohman, will present some of Reisen's songs, especially prepared for the occa- sion and heard in Detroit for the first time. In addition to these highlights, a dramatic presentation will fea- ture some of the poet's famous skits. The program will be cli- maxed by the personal appearance of Reisen. giving joint recitals in several European capitals. These are their first joint concerts abroad since 1935, when Hephzibah at the age of 14- appeared with her brother at Queens Hall, London.
