Woman Seeks
Companion in
Nursing Home

For years now, an aging wo-
man has lain on her 'bed of pain
In a nursing home uncomplaining
but wishing that the days would
not drag along so drearily.
She is Mrs. Si Weingarden, wife
of the newspaper stand owner
who has been a downtown fixture
for decades.
She is given loving care In the
nursing home but misses the com-
panionship of people of her own
kind. She asks readers of the
Jewish Chronicle to help her in
her loneliness.
She suggests that another wo-
man, who is also bedridden and
seeks companionship move In with
her at the nursing home so that
they may be a comfort to one
another.
If you can help, please call
lVeingarden at TO. 8-1345.
