Aaron Droock, president of the
Jewish Community Council, will
be a guest speaker at the pro-
gram of the United Yiddish Folk
Organizations to commemorate
the fourth Yahrzeit of the Battle
of the Warsaw Ghetto, Charles
Driker, president, has announced.
The program will be held at 2:00
p.m., Sunday, April 20, in the
Brown Memorial Chapel of Tem-
ple Beth El.
Featured speaker will be Rabbi
Herschel Schacter, former Army
chaplain. Rabbi Schacter had three
years of distinguished overseas
service and was the first Jewish
chaplain to enter Buchenwald.
Also included on the program
will be the Jewish Folks Chorus
under the direction of Henry
Goldberg which will present a
group of songs of the Warsaw
Ghetto and Cantor Hyman Adler
of Congregation Bnai David who
will deliver the Haskarah.
Harry Kaminer Is in charge of
arrangements.

Details of the three-day Zionist
Youth Institute, to be held April
18, 19 and 20, were annonced this
week by Corrine Perlis, program
chairman.
The institute, first meeting of its
kind to be held in Detroit, will
bring together youth leaders from
Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia
and Kentucky. It is sponsored
jointly by the Masada, IZFA, Ju-
nior Hadassah and Senior Judea
groups.
Highlight of the weekend will
be a dance Saturday, April 19, in
the social hall of BnaiMoshe.
The program is as follows:
April 18—Services 8:15 p.m. at
Bnai Moshe; sermon by Dr. Shlo-
mo Bardin of New York.
