Ex-Detroiters to Mark
Wedding Anniversary

Mrs. Celia Isenberg of Pasadena avenue announces the engage-
ment of her daughter Bernice to Sheldon Klein, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Max Klein of Richton avenue. The bride-elect attends Wayne Uni•
versify. Her fiance is a student in the Detroit Institute of Technology's
college of pharmacy. He is affiliated with Alpha Zeta Omega.

Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Farkas,
formerly of Detroit and now of
Los Angeles, will observe their
45th wedding anniversary Sunday.
Both have long been associated
with Congregation Bnal Moshe In
Detroit. Mrs. Farkas twice served
as president of the sisterhood,
while her husband was chairman
of the Chevra Kadisha.
They are planning to return
here in May.

MRS. BEN KAUFMAN
The marriage of Doris Fineman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George
Fineman of Northlawn avenue, to Ben Kaufman, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Morris Kaufman of Monica avenue, was solemnized by Rabbi
Jacob Segal at Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
Pauline Chess attended the bride as maid or honor. Mrs. Irene
Fineman was matron of honor and Mrs. Rose Fineman, Mrs. Ann
Kassler, Mrs. Estelle Kaufman and Mrs. Lillian Kaufman were

Best man was Sid Kessler and ushers were Albert Fineman, Abe
Zan,. Harry Kaufman and Herb Kaufman. Louis and Morris Fineman
were also in the procession.
A dinner and reception for 300 guests followed the ceremony.
The newlyweds left on a three-week wedding trip to Miami. Upon
their return, they will live on Dunbarton road.
