Mrs. Hyman C. Broder and Mrs.
Henry Wineman, chairmen of the
women's division of the Allied
Jewish Campaign, have selected
their top aides.
Four long-time leaders in com-
munal activities, Mesdames Abra-
ham Cooper, Max Frank, Samuel
R. Glogower, and Julian H. Kro-
lik, have accepted appointments
as vice-chairmen, while Mrs. Eu-
gene Arnfeld will serve as cam-
paign secretary.
In key positions for pre-cam-
paign solicitation will be Mrs.
Sidney J. Allen and Mrs. Robert
J. Newman, who headed last year's
women's division drive as chair-
men; Mrs. Abraham Srere and
Mrs. Nate S. Shapero, vice-chair-
men; Mrs. Isadore Levin, secre-
tary; and Mrs. Julian Zemon and
Mrs. Melville Welt, arrangements.
Special gifts solicitation will be
in the hands of Mesdames Samuel
S. Aaron, Perry P. Burnstine and
Oscar Zemon, while Mrs. William
H. Isenberg will act as secretary

to Hear Dr. Gordon
The Inter-Congregational Men's
Club Dinner, the annual gathering
of the eight Jewish Men's Clubs'
of Detroit and Windsor, will be
held at Temple Beth El on the
Eve of Purim at 7 p.m., Wednes-
day, March 5, with the Men's
Club of Temple Beth El acting as
host.
The guest speaker will be Dr.
Julius Gordon, for the past 17
years Rabbi of Temple Shaare
Emeth in St. Louis, the largest
congregation In that city.
Rabbi Gorgon, a graauate of the
Hebrew Union College, is a noted
scholar and an eloquent speaker.
Ho is the author of a number of
books, notably "Pity the Persecu-
tor." He is active in the religious,
civic and communal life In his
community and serves on the
boards of many national institu-

Travelers Aid Society since its or-
ganization 20 years ago, Mrs. Hen-
ry Wineman was honored at a
luncheon given by the agency's
directors following a board meet-
ing Tue6day in the Women's City
Club. Mrs. Wineman was present-
ed with a gift by Mrs. George
F. Pierrot, the incoming president.
Mrs. Wineman's interest in the
work of this Red Feather agency
is still so keen that she will carry
on as second vice-president of the
organization.
