Arthur Bericks Return
from California Trip
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Berick of
Pasadena avenue have returned
from a three-month motor trip to
California. En route they visited
in St. Louis with their son Harold
and his wife, who recently became
parents of a son.
While in California they were
guests of their sons, Coleman in
San Mateo, Frederick, Mill Valley,
and Edward, Sacramento. They
were entertained extensively by
friends in both Los Angeles and
San Francisco.
Mr. and Mrs. Mandel Kadet of Chicago announce the engagement
of their daughter Frieda to Jack Mitchell, son of Saul Mitchell of
Detroit. Miss Kadet is a junior at Northwestern University, while
her fiance is completing his senior year at Northern Illinois College
of Optometry.
The engagement of Ida Levitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Levitt
of Montreal, Quebec, to Maurice L. Glicklin, son of Mrs. I. Glicklin
of Pingree avenue, was announced at a New Year's party given by
Dr. and Mrs. Jack Koenig.
Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Brod of Webb avenue announce the engage-
ment of their daughter Dolores Jane to Louis Markowitz, son of
Mrs. Jacob Markowitz of Genessee avenue and the late Mr. Markowitz.
' Mrs. Helen Volan of Syracuse, N. Y., announces the engagement
of her daughter Marilyn to Leonard A..Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs .
Samuel Miller of Burlingame avenue. The wedding will take place in
June.

tron of honor and bridesmaids
were Rebecca Tenenbaum and Ce-
celia Duschinsky. George Tarnoff
served as best man. Seymour Po.
dolsky and Julius Stern were
ushers.
The young couple honeymooned

Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Pais of
Northlawn avenue celebrated their
25th wedding anniversary Jan. 5
at a cocktail party in their home,
which was followed by a dinner
for relatives and friends at North-
wood Inn.
Miss Maxine Harris of Los An-
geles is visiting her grandmother,
Mrs. Hilda Harris, and uncle and
aunt, Mr. and Mrs. David Schiller
of Pennington drive.

At an open house Saturday, Jan. 11, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Finkel-
stein of Clements avenue announced the engagement of their daugh-
ter Rose to Herman Cohen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cohen of
Leslie avenue.

ment of their daughter Helaine Judith to Anthony M. Roskin, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Gil Roskin of Marion, Ind.
Mrs. Celia Honikman announces the engagement of her daughter
Ada to Robert Green, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Green. The wedding
will take place, April 20 at the Fort Wayne Hotel.

engagement of their daughter Regene Ann to Louis B. Schulman, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Schulman of Pasadena avenue.

ment of her daughter Mamie to Dr. Ben Ravitz, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Isadore Ravitz of Washburn avenue. An April wedding is planned.
Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Rottenberg of Highland avenue announce
the engagement of their daughter Betty to Herman Fishman, son of
Mr and Mrs. Morris Fishman of Cortland avenue. Miss Rottenberg
is a graduate of Wayne University, and Mr. Fishman is a graduate
of the University of Michigan. The wedding has been set for March 25 .

ment of their daughter Barbara Frances to Harry Goldsmith, son
of Abe Goldsmith of Gladstone avenue and the late Mrs. Goldsmith.
