Sorel Subar Nuptials
Set for Tuesday

Sorel Subar, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Morris Subar, will speak
her vows in marriage to Lt. Jack
M. Kaufman Tuesday.
Lt. Kaufman, son of Mrs. Abra-
ham Kaufman and the late Mr.
Kaufman, is stationed in San An-
tonio, Texas.
Open house will be held at 8
p. m. in the Subar home, 2446 Ful-
lerton avenue, following the cere-
mony.

Dr. Philip E. Lachman, program
chairman, said all efforts have
been expended to make the Detroit
Zionist District's Balfour Ball the
most outstanding since Its incep-
tion.
Two orchestras and three ball-
rooms will be used for the affair
Saturday evening, Dec. 21, at the
Hotel Stetler.
Tickets will be on sale at the
door.

Jean Ferrer and Shirley Ann
Phillips will give a supper-dance
Dec. 26 at the Wardell-Sheraton
Hotel.

Marilyn Grosslight and Eddie
Bloomberg will give a party Dec.
24 at the Standard Club.

Ruth Elaine Frank will give a
