Babtized Jewish Writer Rips Yisliuv
in Vicious Attack in London Paper
LONDON (Palcor) An attack on
Zionists, the Jews of Palestine and
the Jewish Agency In particular
was contained in an article by
George Maranz, Daily Mail and
Exchange Telegraph correspond-
ent, carried on the front page of
the Weekly Worlds News Press.
The story was accompanied by
an editorial saying that pogroms
against Jews may soon break out
in England as a result of Jewish
activities in Palestine.
Maranz, a baptized Jew, is re-
garded with suspicion by Jews in
Palestine and has been barred
from. most Jewish preSs confer-
ences.
Writing from Jerusalem, Maranz
said "40 percent of Palestine's Jews
are terrorists or terrorist sympa-
thizers; 40 percent are terrorized,
and 20 percent are European Jews,
trying to get visas to a place with
less politics and more civilization."
According to Maranz a corres-
pondent in Palestine must "dig"
for truth through thick layers of
Zionist propoganda and that all

American and British newspapers
are represented by fanatical Zion-
ists, who take good care that nei-
ther the British nor Arab voice
should be heard abroad.
In an editorial commending Ma-
ranz's article, the World News
Press said the "patience and re-
straint of the British press and
public under the provocative on-
slaught by Jewish terrorists is
wearing paper thin and it requires
only a spark for setting the pow-
der barrel of resentment ablaze."
"It is high time," the editorial
concluded, "that Britain's case Is
presented fully and more ade-
quately."
