Farewell Is Set

Detroiter Describes Reunion
at Pier With Long Lost Sister

THERE WAS NO lack of tears
at the crowded New York pier
when Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rosen-
berg, 1975 Pingree avenue, were
reunited recently with Mrs. Esther
Zyskind, the latter's sister, after
a separation of more than two
decades.
To Mrs. Zyskind, who had seen
her husband and other close rela-
tives perish in the Auschwitz
concentration camp, the reunion
was balm for years of suffering
under the Nazis.
The meeting Is described by Ro-
senberg as follows:
"We waited for three and one-
half hours in the crowd that
leaned against a fence, dividing
the passage for arrivals from those
waiting.
