That in itself speaks well for him. Soon after he was graduated from the Uni- versity of Illi- nois with a B.S. degree in physi- c a I education, Levy 'hopped over to Granite City, Ill., where a job as athle- tic director at the high school was waiting for him. From there he went on to a similar post with the Jewish Com- munity Center in Kansas City, Mo., and after a five-year stay crossed the border to become head of the Montreal YMHA's athletic depart- ment. He left that spot for his present one in Detroit.
