thy to Jules Droz, son of Mrs.
Katie Droz of Gladstone avenue.
Miss Cohen is past president of
the Detroit Bnal Brith Young Wo-
men's Council and district third
vice president.
The wedding will take place
Dec. 29 at the Belcrest Hotel.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Miller of Cleve-
land will be the week-end guests
of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Hopp.
They will also attend the Michi-
gan-Illinois game in Ann Arbor.

Mr. and Mrs. Felix Mahler have
returned from London, Ont.

Mrs. Clarence Levy left Oct. 16
for a visit in St. Louis.

Food Shower Planned
by Relief Committee

The Detroit Women's Division of
the American Jewish Congress is
intensifying its drive for clothing
for people in Europe. Mrs. Louis
Redstone, chairman of this activi-
ty, has requested that all contribu-
tions be packed in a carton and
delivered to one of the following
stations:

An appeal has been made for
medical supplies and comfort items
for European Jewry by Mrs. Julius
Stross, medical supplies chairman.

Plans for a food shower will
be discussed when the Women's
Emergency Relief Committee meets
Nov. 4 at the home of Mrs. James
Brindze, 2732 Pasadena avenue.
The shower is scheduled for the
second week In November.
Mrs. Joshua Sperka, treasurer, is
accepting food and clothing con-
tributions at 1938 Tuxedo avenue.

Embassy in honor of the Far
Eastern Commission.
