The alumna chapter of Sigma
Theta Delta, a Wayne University
sorority, is celebrating its twen-
tieth anniversary, at a founder's
day dinner at 7:30 p.m. Thursday,
Oct. 24 at Huylees L'Aiglon in
the Fisher Building.
At this time, the following new
officers will be installed: Pearl
Leventen, president; Mrs. Jack
Schreier and Mrs. Ben Magy, sec-
retaries; and Mrs. Earnest White,

Honored at Shower
Mrs. James Schor of Tyler ave-
nue was hostess at a luncheon and
miscellaneous shower for 40 guests
Oct. 12 in the English room of
the Book Cadillac Hotel, honoring
her niece Barbara Gottesman, a
bride-elect of November.

Janet Harris has returned to her
home in Los Angeles after a visit

wedding Sept. 29 of Anita June Bell, daughter of Mrs. Mathilda Bell
of Hollywood, Calif. to Murray M. Kahn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Kahn of Detroit. Rabbi B. Benedict Glazer officiated.
The bride wore a
gown of ivory satin, fashioned with a modified
sweetheart neckline, long tapered sleeves and a circular train. Her
veil of illusion was banded with delicate white plumes. She carried a
bouquet of Juanna Hill roses.
