Dinner to Acclaim
Zionist Leader

Harry Rosenthal of Windsor,
newly-elected president of the On-
tario Zionist Region, will be hon-
ored by a testimonial dinner in
\Vindsor's Shaar Hashomayim Sy-
nagogue, Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6:30
p. m. The dinner is sponsored by
the Windsor Jewish Community
Council and the Windsor Zionist
Council.

rector, and Sam Zacics, president
of the Zionist Organization of
Canada; members of Parliament
and other prominent Canadians
will attend.
Chairman of the evening will be
Harry Cherniak, president of the
Community Council.
The progrfim includes a demon-
stration of the acceptance cere-
mony by the Herzl-Zion Club of
Toronto, performed by 15 mem-
bers in full regalia. The Herzl-
Zion Club, which numbers 2,000
members, is one of the strongest
and most active General Zionist
groups in Canada.
Detroiters are invited. Reserva-

McDonald is coming to Detroit

knowledge of the problem acquired
during years as head of the In-
tergovernmental Commit t e e on
Refugees and as chairman of the
American delegation on the Anglo-
American Committee qualify him
to speak on a subject so closely
bound up with the Jewish people.
"What Next in Palestine" is the

troit Jewry to hear this distin.
