Hundreds of Jewish veterans
marched through the streets of
Tel Aviv this week in a demon-
stration demanding a "free Jew-
ish Palestine." The marchers, who
were dressed in the uniforms of
all branches of the British armed
forces, carried colorful placards
and transparencies.
The parade climaxed a day-long
conference here to protest British
policy and demand the admission
of the surviving Jews of Europe.

For several seasons past, the

Con' re-mtion Beth Aaron, 18000 Downtown Synagogue proved in_
adequate to accommodate all who
desired to worship within its
sanctuary during the High Holy
Days. To meet this situation, it
was decided to seek more spa-
cious quarters. A very central lb-
cation was found in securing the
auditorium of the Park Avenue
Hotel. on Park Avenue, corner of
Sproat.
A qualified cantor will be asso-
ciated with Rabbi Rosenwasser,
who will be in charge of the Park
Avenue Hotel auditorium services.
The Synagogue will adhere to
its policy, having no sale of seats,
its sacred endeavors being main-
tained entirely through voluntary
offerings.
