FOR THAT ACATION NORTHWEST HEBREW The Brethren team of the Northwest Congregation and Cen- ter Men's Club softball league won their third straight game by edg- ing out the Guardians 8-G. Trailing by one run in the ninth inning, the Brethren won the game when Phil Shear slammed a home run with two men on base. Phil Cameron pitch- ed the entire game for the win- ners, and although he did not al- low a single earned run, he was constantly in trouble because of loosb fielding. Joe Rodman shared the batting honors with Shear, garnering three hits, including two doubles. The Pilots, who led the league last week, absorbed their third straight defeat, this time at the hands of the Messengers 16-5. The Messenger's victory gave them a tie for the league leadership. 80 Acres of Playtime Paradi.st • A gay, friendly crowd • • • Swimming, tennis, golf, horses Handball, ping pong, archery Dancing, concerts, movies Planned Activities Rooms with Bath Superb Food Write for /older Open June 16 Accepting Reservations Until Labor Day Come to Beautiful O men s Inn OMENA INN is located in the Northern Michigan Heartland . . . amid sunshine, sparkling waters and crystal clear air.
