Moinet. The nomination now goes to the Senate for ratification. Mr. Levin, senior mentuer of the firm of Levin, Levin, Garvett and Dill, has lived in Detroit for over thirty years and has been in the practice of law for twenty-six years. Prominent in Jewish philan- thropic and fraternal circles, Levin is president of the United Jewish Charities of Detroit, .t . vice-president of the Detroit Jew. :\ ish Welfare Federation, member %h. of the executive committee of the National Refugee Service, past president of Pisgah Lodge, Bnai Brith, and a member of the ex- ecutive hoard of the Jewish Com- munity Council.
