Hadassah Offers
All Woman Slate
NEW YORK -- Hadassah, the
Women's Zionist Organization of
America and Junior Hadassah,
combined membership of 180,000.
will submit their own slate com-
prised entirely of women, to Am-
erican Jews who arc scheduled to
vote for delegates to the first
peace-time World Zionist Congresri
which takes place in Palestine on
August 7. Hadassah's will be the
only all-woman slate submitted
to the electorate in this country.
The announcement was made by
Mrs. Moses P. Epstein and Miss
Naomi ChertofT, presidents of the
senior and Junior organizations re-
spectively.
Elections of delegates to repre-
sent all Zionist parties will be
held throughout the United States
on June 16 and 17. Both Junior
and senior Hadassah are General
Zionist bodies, as is the Zionist.
Organization of America which
will also have its own slate.
