Essays for the Chronicle contest on "What Zionism Means to
Me" show a remarkable awareness of the Zionist problems on th.)
part of the younger generation of Detroit.
The contest closes on May 1 and there is still plenty of time for
those interested to submit their essays. Those submitted thus far show
a wide variety of approaches.
There are three prizes for the winning contestants. First prize,
offered by the Fishman brothers, Mickey and Herman, is a complete
summer at Camp Michigama, rated one of the best supervised camps
in the state. Second prize is a cash reward of fifty dollars while the
third prize is a set of books offered by the Chronicle.
