With the appointment of Miss
Aviva Gootman as director of Ju-
nior Activities of the Center, the
Junior program is being expanded
to meet the needs of young Jew-
ish boys and girls under 14.
Parents are urged to take out
memberships for their children at
the Center. Of particular interest
to parents is the Day Camp of
the Center, Camp Habonim, for
which registrations will soon be
announced. This summer activity
provides a program Which includes
swimming, playground, crafts;
hikes, photography, dramatics;
dancing, story telling, camp paper
and games. Qualified counselors
supervise the day camp.

RABBI ZAGER

scholar and a person of practical
wisdom. In Detroit, Rabbi Zager
was affiliated with Congregations
Adas Yeshurun, Pesach Tikvah,
Ateres Zvi and Shaarey Zion.
Rabbi Zager died in Detroit at
the age of 54 on Oct. 1, 1940.
