DR. PHILIP E. LACHMAN
The membership drive of the
Zionist Organization of Detroit
is continuing under the leader-
ship of Dr. Philip E. Lachman.
The members are contacting the
Jews of Detroit urging them to
join the Zionist movement.
Mr. Harry Zausmer has been
appointed chairman of the com-
mittee to contact organizations
for their cooperation in the drive.
Officers of any organization or
club desiring to show the sound
films on Palestine should call Mr.
Zausmer, at RA. 7584.
Several meetings were held in
the homes of members. The Zion-
ist office provided speakers and
films. These meetings are one of
the best ways of making Detroit
Jews conscious of the necessity of
their cooperation. Home meetings
will continue, and anyone who
plans to entertain at home should
call the Zionist office and a speak-
er will be provided.
Dr. Lachman, Chairman of the
Committee, makes the plea to all
Jews of the community: "The Zi-
onist Organization of America is
your instrument to fight for the
establishment of a Jewish N:t•
tional Home in Palestine and for
the opening of its doors to mass
Jewish immigration. Enroll today
— Do not delay -- Call the Zion-
ist office, CH. 6559, and request
