Collection of Supplies for Overseas Survivors, sponsored by the Joint Distribution Committee to provide 20,000,000 additional pounds of contributed relief sup- plies for Jewish survivors over- seas. Detroit's delegates to the Amer- ican Jewish Conference who at- tended the Conference sessions in Cleveland during February have been invited to submit their re- ports to Detroit Jewry from the Community Council platform. Sim- ilar report meetings have been held by the Community Council following the first and second ses- sions of the Conference. The Com- munity Council delegates voted support for the program of the Conference following the first ses- sion of the Conference in 1943. Council delegates will give con- sideration to the resolutions on reorganization of the American Jewish Conference for future ef- forts on behalf of the American Jewish community. The forthcoming $2,000,000 cam- paign for the United Jewish Ap- peal, which is being conducted by the Allied Jewish Campaign, will be presented to the Council dele- gates by a spokesman of the Jew- ish Welfare Federation and De- troit Service Croup.
