turned to her home on Kentucky

returned Feb. 21 from a week in

At a double ring ceremony held Sunday, Feb. 10, in the Congrega-
tion Bin! Moshe, Gloria Pianka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris
Pianka, of Tuxedo Ave., became the bride of William Joseph Good-
man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack M. Goodman, of Taylor Ave. Rabbi
E. A. Levi officiated.
The bride chose a gown of ice blue satin fashioned with a long
fitted torso and a full skirt extending into a circular train. The top of
the bodice was embroidered with seed pearls and was attached to the
illusion net yoke in a scalloped design. With her gown the bride wore
a matching fingertip veil of illusion held in place by a satin halo
sprayed with seed pearls. She carried a prayer book to which were
attached streamers showered with hybrid orchids.
Mrs. Kathleen Zimmerman, sister of the groom, served as matron
of honor. Her gown was of shrimp pink velveteen with a matching
net skirt and ostrich toque. She carried an arm bouquet of talisman
roses.
The maid of honor, Miss Connie Goodman, wore a gown, of ice
blue taffeta with an off-the-shoulder illusion net neckline and match-
ing ostrich toque.
The bridesmaids were Roslyn Pianka Shirley Fenster, Corrine
Paris, Beatrice Yellen, Shirley Yellen, Shirley Rubin, and the flower
girls were Mary Yellen and Carol Stern.
Mrs. M. Piankf; mothr of the bride, wore a pear grey gown cov-
ered with irredescent beading. Mrs. J. Goodman, the groom's mother,
wore a gown of pale blue with sequin buttons on the bodice. Both
wore orchids.
The groom was attended by his brother-in-law', Raymond Zinc
mermen, and Joel Yellen carried the ring which was placed in a calla
lily lying on a satin pillow.
The bride's grandfather, Mr. S. Yellen, attended. Out-of-town
guests were -Mr. and'Afrs. Max Berry and daughter Natalie from Pro-
vidence, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Gordon from Brookline, Mr. and Mrs.
Abraham Urlcansky from Windsor, Mrs. Irving Pianka and Mrs.
George Abramow from Jersey City, Sam Yellen and Mg. Max Fen-
ster from New York, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fenster front 3t. Louis, Lt.
David Gudes from Colorado Springs, Mr. and Mrs. J a j dore Herman,
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Zuzzman and Shirley Cohen from'

The newlyweds left for Chicago following the dinner and recep-
tion given In their honor.
