Mizrachi Celebrates
34th Anniversary

An All-American Operation

On Sunday evening, Jan. 20, at
7:30 p.m., the Mizrachi Organiza-
tion of Detroit will celebrate its
34th anniversary at the Jewish
Community Center, Holbrook at
Woodward Ayes.
Flora Beckman, an accomplish-
ed pianist, will head the musical
portion of the program, assisted
by Drora Selasny, who will open
the program with the National
Anthem and Hatikvah.
On Saturday evening, Jan. 19, at
8:30 p.m., the Mizrachi member-
:hip will gather at a rally prior
to the anniversary celebration to
be held at the Bnai Moshe Con-
gregation, Dexter at Lawrence.

To Hear Round Table

Mrs. George Koven, president of
the Women's Auxiliary of the Jew-
ish Home for Aged, announces A
program to be given by the Auxil-
iary at their regular monthly
meeting which will be held at the
Jewish Community Center, Wood-
ward at Holbrook, on Monday,
Jan. 21, at 1:30 p.m.
The program will be entitled
"Know Your Old Folks Home."
There will be a round table dis-
cussion. The panel will consist of
Mrs. A. M. Ferar, Mrs. I. E. Good-
man, and Mrs. David Kliger, with
Dr. Otto Hirsch, superintendent of
the Home, serving as moderator.
Mrs. Albert Meister will give a
reading, and vocal selections will
be given by Mrs. Rose LaKritz.
