British Report Jews
Fleeing to Berlin
From Polish Terror

LONDON (JTA)--Reports pub-
lished during the week-end in the
London press indicate that Berlin
is being flooded with Polish Jews,
fleeing in large numbers from the
anti-Semitism of Polish national-
ists.
Their number is so great, the
Daily Mall reported, that Anglo-
American control officers have
had to turn to their governments
for guidance in handling the situ-
ation. It is estimated that 200 of
these refugees are arriving daily
after a long train ride dhrough the
Russian zone of occupation. Al-
teady thousands of them have
reached Berlin and there are no
i.igns of the traffic slackening.
