NEW YORK.—The President's
War Relief Control Board has call-
ed upon all overseas war relief
agencies in America to support
the Victory Clothing Collection
on behalf of UNRRA in one
united nation-wide endeavor to
collect clothing that is desperately
needed in bombed-out lands, it
was announced Sunday by Henry
J. Kaiser, national chairman of
the Victory Clothing Collection,
scheduled for Jan. 7-31.
Joseph E. Davies is chairman of
the President's War Relief Control
Board which was set up by an
executive order to authorize and
regulate the collection by volun-
tary agencies of funds and goods
for overseas relief. Other board
members are Charles P. Taft and
Charles Warren.

the home of Mrs. B. Strasner.

the Hebrew Schools, introduced
the guest speaker, Miss Evelyn
Landan, recently of the WAC
who spoke on Chanukah and its
traditions.
