Mrs. Morris Adler, wife of Rab-
bi Adler, will review Louis Ada-
inic's book, "A Nation of Na-
tions" which will be the highlight
of the dessert luncheon to be held
by the Women's American Ort,
Monday, Dec. 17 at 1:30 at the
Jewish Community Center.
Mrs. Adler, a graduate of Hun-
ter's College, came to Detroit seven
years ago with Rabbi Adler who
is now overseas. Since she has be-
come an active and outstanding
figure in Jewish COmmunal life
here.

NEW YORK.—The President's
War Relief Control Board has call-
ed upon all overseas war relief
agencies in America to support
the Victory Clothing Collection
on behalf of UNRRA in one
united nation-wide endeavor to
collect clothing that is desperately
needed in bombed-out lands, it
was announced Sunday by Henry
J. Kaiser, national chairman of
the Victory Clothing Collection,
scheduled for Jan. 7-31.
