Moshe Sisterhood honoring Mrs.
Eliezer A. Levi, wife of the new-
ly elected rabbi, will be held on
Wednesday aft.rnoon, Dec. 12,
with Mrs. Harry Robinson se rv -
ing as chairman. The invocation
will be offered by Mrs. Harry
Rosman. The president of the
Sisterhood. Mrs. I. E. Goodman,

The Chanukah Victory Dim r
held on Surday evening, Dec. 2,
an outstanding success both fin-
ancially and socially, was spon-
sored by the Sisterhood under
the auspices of a committee
headed by Mrs. Morris Rosen-
berg and Mrs. Louis Kunes. The
traditional Chanukah Candle-
lighting ceremony was performed
by Cantor David Katzman, who
Ay es later heard in a repertoire
of Hi•ircei and Yiddish melodies.
Mrs. Morris Rosenberg-, as gener-
al chairman, extended greetings.
The president of the Sister-
hood. Mrs. I. E. Goodman, enu-
merat ,- d the improvements that
would be realized from this ban-
1 quet. Mr. Harry Rosman, presi-
dent of the Congregation, ex-
tended a welcome to all of the
guests. Mr. Theo Curtis urged
participation in all of the activi-
ties of the Men's Club of which
he is president. The aims and
- objectives of the Religious School
were offered by the director, Mr.
Walter Farber.
An address was delivered by
Rabbi Moses Fischer who also of-
fered the invocation. Mr. Ben
Goldman, who acted as toastmas-
ter, introduced the guest speak-
er, Rabbi Eliezer A. Levi.

Secretary of the M. W. 0. A.,
spoke at the Sixth Annual Donor
Luncheon of the Young Women's
Mizrachi, held yesterday at the
Shaarey Zedek. She has trav-
eled repeatedly throughout the
country and recently established
a chapter in Mexico City. Mrs.
Landau gave a report on the
recent convention held in At-
lantic City.
The local chapters will hold an
Oneg Shebat at the horn? of
Mrs, Moses Wiser, 3316 Law-
rence on Friday evening, Decem-
ber 7, t o honor Mrs. Landau.

lration of the 34th Anniversary
of the Mizrachi Organization of
Detroit, which will be 11 . 1d at
the Jewish Community Center.
A fine musical program has been
arranged for the evening, and a
nationally known religious Zion-
ist leader will address the as-
sembly.
On Saturday evening, Decent-

gather in the Bnai Jacob Syna-
gogue, Linwood at Richton, to
discuss current Zionist prob-
