A new class for boys between the ages of fourteen and sixteen was recently organized at the David W. Simons and Bagley branches of the United Ilebrew Schools. These classes meet twice a week, on Mondays and Tues- days, between 7 and 8 in the evening. Miss Zelda Rosenthal, formerly director of the Shaarey Zedek Sunday School and a new mem- ber of the staff of the United Hebrew Schools, is in charge of the David W. Simons class, and Mrs. H. Malberg is the instructor at the Bagley School. An additional number of five students will be admitted to each of these classes. Block of 4298 Fullerton was celebrated Sunday evening, November 25, with a dinner and reception given in their honor by their children. The occasion celebrated was not only the anniversary, but was also the 65th birthday of Mr. Joseph Block and the 37th birthday of their son, Abraham. There's none Eleanor Levenson Speaker At League For Labor Palestine Eder Family Club The Eder Family Club held a Bingo Party on Sunday evening, Nov. 25 at the Warsaw Club on Holmur Ave. The affair was unique in that it was preceded by a supper which was replete with appetizing goodies and was almost entirely prepared by the entertainment committee, con- sisting of Harry Knopper, Eddie Brown and Al Eder. After the supper, the Bingo game was put in progress and continued for two hours. Mahj games, gin rummy and other forms of card games completed the evening's fun. A welcome addition to the gathering was Major Joseph Eder who is home on leave.
