Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Goldstein, of Calvert Ave., announce the
engagement of their daughter, Mildred, to Seymour Spira, son of
Mrs. Rose Spira of Pingree Avenue. The wedding will take place
on Dec. 30 at the Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
The engagement of Florence Haiman to Leonard Gorman was re-
cently announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Adler, of W.
Euclid Ave. Mr. Gorman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Gorman,

The bride was lovely in an ivory satin gown, fashioned with a
long train. Her veil was fastened at the top in a lace coronet. She
carried a prayer book which had belonged to her maternal grand-
mother, which was topped with a white orchid and baby 'mums.
Mrs. Sidney Brawer, of Champaign, Ill., attended Mrs. Klamer
as matron of honor, and David Klamer, brother of the groom, serv-
ed as best man. Mrs. Brawer, mother of the bride, wore a light blue
and black dress and an orchid corsage.

spending two years in the ETO
with an Evacuation Hospital Unit.
Dr. and Mrs. Beitman and daugh-
ter Shirley are now vacationing
in Miami Beach, Fla., prior to
the doctor's return to his Detroit
practice.
