JEWS IN EUROPE APPEAL TO J. D. C. FOR MORE TORAHS
Arrangements are being corn-
pleted for the opening meeting
and victory luncheon of the Wo-
men's Auxiliary, Maimonides Me-
dical Society, to be held at the
Lee Plaza at 12:30 p, m., on
Saturday, Oct. 27. For the last
few years it has been the custom
to extend invitations to the
wives of the members of the
Heads Bnai Brith
Youth Program
Maimonides Medical Society who
are in the armed services to at-
tend the opening meeting and
luncheon as guests of the aux-
iliary.
Forty invitations have been
issued this year to the wives of
physicians in service.
An entertaining afternoon has
been planned following the lunch-
eon and a short business meet-
ing, which will be presided over
by the president, Mrs. David
Kliger. Mrs. M. Witus is in
charge of arrangements, assisted
by Mrs. L. Orecklin, Mrs. H.
Small, Mrs. N. J. Kapetansky
and Mrs. J. Sandler. Mrs. Ervin
B. Moss is chairman of publicity.
