ANNA MAXMAN
64 years old, widow of the late
Samuel J. Maxman, died Oct. 3
at her home at 3216 Fullerton,
after an illness of several months.
Funeral Services were held at
home with Rabbis Eisenman,
Stollman and Wasserman offici-
ating. Interment was at the Tu-
rover Verein cemetery. Mrs. Max-
man is survived by four daugh-
ters and one son, Mrs. Rose Witt,
Mrs. Ann Hirschman, Mrs. Fan-
nie Levin, Dr. Harold A. Max-
man•and Mrs. Matilda Helfgott,
and a brother, Morris Galison
and 8 grandchildren. Mrs. Max-
man was a resident of Detroit
for 39 years and was active in
Jewish communal affairs. She
was a member of the Ladies
Auxiliary of the Tu•over Aid So-
ciety since its organization in
1910. She was a member of the
Ladies Auxiliary of Yeshivah
Chachmey Lublin, Bicur Cholem,
Sisters of Zion Mizrachi, and the
Jewish Home for the Aged.
