CINEMA — The Cinema The-
atre is presenting for the second
big week the complete, uncut, un-
expurgated version of the film
classic, "Wuthering Heights," star-
ring Merle Oberon, Laurence Ol-
ivier and David Niven, adapted
by Ben Hecht and Charles Mac-
Arthur from Emily Bronte's fa-
mous novel. Recently during the
reissue of this film nationally, a
shortened version was released to
the public, to allow theatres to
double feature this film, but the
Cinema Theatre has requested of
the distributors a complete print,
which it is proud to present in
its original, pristine form, the
version which was unanimously
conceded by the press to be one
of the finest films yet produced
by Hollywood.

Rubinstein Quits
School Post at
Shaarey Zedek

Simha Rubinstein, educational
director of Shaarey Zedek, has re-
signed, it was announced by Mor-
ris !Jacobst chairman of the
Shaarey Zedek Educational Com-
mittee. Mr. Rubinstein will ac-
cept a position with the Bureau
of Jewish Education in New York
City. No one has as yet been av-
pointed to take his place.
Mr. Rubinstein was appointed
to the Shaarey Zedek post late
last Fall. He inaugurated an
Evening School for adults and
youths at Shaarey Zedek. He
made changes in the curriculum
of the Sunday and week day
classes and had planned to ex-
pand the Shaarey Zedek school
into a community institution.
The author of several Hebrew
textbooks which are being used
by schools all over the land, Mr.
Rubinstein was nationally known
in the field of Hebrew education.
He has degrees from several col-
leges and was head of a Hebrew
high school in New York City be-
fore coming here.
