Sound Home Movies
Provide Entertainment

School teachers, club leaders,
entertainment committees and in-
dustrial organizations are find-
ing the solution to their enter-
tainment problems in the film
rental service of the Gratiot
Film Co., a service which enables
them to show popular Hollywood
motion pictures in the home,
school, club room or auditorium.
Popular full length features,
cartoons for the kiddies' parties,
shorts, news and educational re-
leases (some in color, many with
sound ) , partially comprise the
list to select from. The screen,
projector and an operator can
be supplied if requested.
In addition, collectors who
wish to add to their film library,
will find obtainable a wide range
of current releases, the latest
being the "Peace Builders," a
documentary sound picture his-
tory of the famous "Big 3" con-
ferences.

mice.
"Our forefathers," said Pres-
ident Truman, "came to our
rugged shores in search of
religious tolerance, political
freedom and economic oppor-
tunity. For these fundamen-
tal rights they risked their
lives. We well know today
that such rights can be pre-
served only by constant vigil-
ance, the eternal price of lib-
erty."

The President wound up his
first address with a quotation
from the Old Testament :

"As I assume my heavy
ch. ties, I humbly pray to Al-
mighty God, in the words of
Solomon, 'Give therefore Thy
servant an understanding heart
ma y discern between good and
to judge Thy people that I
bad; for who is able to judge
this Th y so great people? I
ask only to be a good and
faithful servant of my Lord
and my people."

Study of the past background
of President Truman reveals that
he has always been a foe of
racial and religious intolerance.
