Bnai Brith Bowling Tournament
will be held at 11:30 a. in. Sun-
day, May 6, at the Detroit Rec-

is having a donor banquet at
6:30 p. m. Sunday, April 15,
at the Sham. Hashomayim Syna-
gogue, corner of Giles Blvd. and
Goyeau.
A full course dinner will be
served. Mrs. Goldie Adler of
Detroit will be the guest speaker.
Miss Blanche Pearl will sing sev-
eral songs in Jewish and Heb-
rew. A group of our own Ha-
dassah members will do a Pal-
estinian dance. Mrs. L. Polsky
will play the piano.

Mrs. Rachael Cohen
Found Dead in Home

Mrs. Michael Cohen, 74, widow
of Bennett Cohen, died in her
home in Port Huron last Mon-
day night. She was born in
Russia in 1871 and lived in
Port Huron 51 years. She was
a member of Mt. Sinai Syna-
gogue and first president of its
Ladies Auxiliary. She burned
the mortgage on the Mt. Sinai
Templ e in a ceremony Feb. 6.
She is survived by a sister,
Mrs. Lena Alvin, Detroit; a
brother, Harry Jacobson, who
lives in Texas; and several
nieces and nephews.
Rabbi Selig Auerbach, pastor
of Mt. Sinai Congregation, offi-
ciated. Burial Was held on Wed-
nesday, March 28, at Mt. Sinai
Cemetery.
