Large Funds Are Necessary Immediately to Save Thousands

It Is Not Too Late—Your Dollars Can Save Lives
Sacrifice Your Comfort So Others May Live—Respond Now!

1,200 GERMAN, CZECK, AND DUTCH JEWS FROM THE THERESIENSTADT CONCENTRATION
CAMPS ARRIVED IN SWITZERLAND ON THE 8TH OF FEBRUARY

There is a possibility to save thousands of Jews who
are now in German Concentration Camps and bring
them to Switzerland, where they will be interned for
the duration. This has been done by the Vaad Hahat-
zala Emergency Committee of New York, through its
representatives in Switzerland. This was made possible
through the cooperation of the War Refugee Board in
Washington and the Government of Switzerland.

The Government of Switzerland is prepared to admit
all Jews who can be released from the Concentration

Camps and keep them in their country for the duration.

The president of the Republic of Switzerland publicly
announced the possibility to accept more weekly refu-
gee transportations from Germany to his country.

During the last few weeks the New York office of the
Vaad Hahatzala transferred, with special permission
of the Treasury Dept. of Washington, the sum of half
a million dollars. One hundred thousand dollars was
sent on Monday, Feb. 26. Larger funds are necessary
for this refugee work.
