Mrs. Moritz Kahn of 1611 Lin-
colnshire Dr., Palmer Woods, will
be at home to her family and
friends Sunday, Feb. 18, from 3
to 6, in honor of her daughter,
Betty Valerie, whose engagement
was recently announced to Sam-
uel Katzin of Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Blach
of Birmingham, Ala., were the
guests for a few days of their
family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gins-
burg of Chicago Blvd.

IA. Robert M. Overton, son of
Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Overton,
2075 W. Philadelphia, has re-
cently returned from Alaska am: I; .at
the Aleutians where he has been Dl i" ,
with the Alaska Wing Air Trans-
port Command for the past 18
months. New duties take him to
Camp Luna, New Mexico, as
Plans and Training Officer. Pfc.
Harry Overton, a former Pre-
Medical student at Wayne Uni-
versity, is now with a Field Hos-
pital Unit somewhere in Germany.
Lt. Overton has been in the Serv-
ice since March of 1942.

Mrs. Milton Rosenbaum re-
turned to her home in New York,
having visited for a few days
with her aunt, Mrs. J. D. Rosen-
berg of the Belcrest.

Mrs. Sarah Wolf will be at
home to her friends at the .Jewish
Home for the Aged on the occa-
sion of her 83rd birthday on
Feb. 22.

Mr. and Mrs. David Wilkus and
Mrs. Irma Marks were the guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barnett
of Shaker Heights, 0., over the
past week-end,

Miss Elaine Glass, (laughter of .
