Detroit paid tribute to Chaim Weizmann at a cele-
bration honoring the great leader's 70th birthday, Mon-
day evening in the Shaarey Zedek Social Hall. Both
Jews and Gentiles joined in the tribute to the world Zion-
ist leader. Nearly 1,000 persons packed the hall to hear
three speakers voice their hopes for Palestine.
