From all indications the 1945
Conference of the Detroit Pales-
tine Histadrut Campaign will
have the greatest representation
of Jewish organizations in De-
troit in its history. Many organ-
izations already have elected their
delegates and it is expected that
all friends of labor Palestine
will participate in the Conference
as guests, and add their voice
of approval on the aims of the
Histadrut in the building of Pal-
estine as the Jewish homeland
and Commonwealth.
The conference will be held
on Sunday, Jan. 7, at 1:30 p. m.,
in the Congregation Shaarey Ze-
dek Auditorium. The guest
speakers will be Rabbi Samuel
Wohl, the spiritual leader of the
famous reform Congregation, the
Isaac M. Wise Temple of Cincin-
nati, and Peretz Hirshbein, noted
Yiddish dramatist and author. A
suitable musical program will be
rendered and a report of the
achievements in the yast year's
campaign will also be sumbitted.
The arrangements committee
urges all Jewish organizations
who have not as yet elected their
delegates, to do so at once, and
notify the campaign office on the
return card received by their offi-
cers.
The public is invited to partici-
pate, and free tickets of admis-
sion may be obtained from the
representatives of the organiza-
tions affiliated with the cam-
paign; at the Campaign Head-
quarters, 9142 Linwood; or by
phoning TY. 7-8225.
