Lt. Harold Coblentz
Book Collection Is
Accepted by Center

H. C. Broder, president of the
Jewish Community Center, has
announced the acceptance by the
Center of the recently established
Lt. Harold Coblentz Memorial
Book Collection. Lt. Coblentz
was a former member and del
leader at the Jewish Community
Center. He was killed in a plane
crash in South Dakota last
spring.
Books in the collection will
deal with all phases of club lead-
ership, group work, camping, and
juvenile delinquency. It is ex-
pected that the books will form
a valuable addition to the back-
ground of club leaders.
Lt. Coblentz was a member of
the former Akiba Club which
met at the Jewish Community
Center under the leadership of
Saul R. Levin. Members of the
Akiba Club and other friends are
subscribing to the fund, of whch
George M. Rubin is chairman,
Sanford Dinetz, secretary, and
Jack Menenberg, treasurer.
