The purpose of the picnic is
to raise sufficient funds to give
Detroit district the opportunity
of distributing hundreds of free
copies of the "Black Book of
Polish Jewry" to Senators, Con-
gressmen, editors and clergymen,
so as to enlighten them concern-
ing the martyrdom of Polish
Jewry under Nazi rule.
Seven hundred copies of the
"Black Book" have already been
distributed free in Michigan.
Two thousand chicken dinners,
1,000 fish dinners, all strictly
kosher, are being prepared by the
Lachar Kosher Catering Co. for
this picnic which will be served
at the park for the price of $1.
A $25 and $50 war bond will be
raffled.
Organizations and individuals
receiving letters with tickets are
asked to be kind enough to send
in their checks for tickets pay-
