Plans for Home Relief
Fund Raising Affair
Announced by Mrs. Small
Airs. Irving II. Small, president
of the Home Relief Society, an-
nounces the plans for next year's
fund-raising affair. For the dura-
kin are serving as secretary and
treasurer of this affair.
Mrs. Sam Marks, University
1-3608, is chairman of the year
book, with Mrs. Ralph Levy a;
co-chairman. Mrs. A n t h o n y
Deutsch, Townsend 8-3669, is in
charge of our service men's hon-
or roll. Mrs. Joseph Grabow,
Townsend 5-0669, is is charge of
memoriam. Mrs. Jule Englander,
Tyler 7-6232, is in charge of
darling insertions. Airs. Maxwell
Emmer is serving as general sec-
retary for the year book.
On July 3 Home Relief mem-
bers were hosts to the servicemen
at the Downtown USO. Mrs. Wil-
liam Gordon is chairman of this
committee and has as her co-
chairman Airs. John Herman.

ARTISTS AT STADIUM CONCERT
The Bina David Men's Club
held their installation of officers
on June 22, in the social hall or
the synagogue. Myron Solomon
was chairman of the evening, and
installed the following officers . :
Barney A. Ross, president; John
Graff,
vice president; Henry
Pearson, recording secretary; M.
Newman, corresponding secre-
tary; Bernard II. Dosie, treas-
ure•; Ben Fellow, financial secre-
tary; Joe Tennenberg, chaplain,
and Ed Kreske, sergeant-at-arms.
The next meeting will be held
Thursday evening, July 13, in
the social hall of the synagogue.

man, program chairman, an-
nounce that a fashion review by
one of the leading stores of the
city will be part of the after-
noon program. For reservations

Gilbert, Townsend 8-2281. Mrs.

Judge Edward B. Benscoe is
a candidate for Prosecuting At-
torney on the Republican Ticket.
He served with honor as Judge
of the Common Pleas Court for a
number of years. Ile helped
young people out of bad environ-
ment and bad habits, and directed
them into good habits along the
road to good citizenship. Judge
Benscoe believes it is more im-
portant to make a good citizen
than to have a convict, and has
used this philosophy in his de-
cisions. Ile is an able lawyer, with
38 years of experience as a law-
yer and judge and lie will bring
to the office of Prosecuting At-
torney not only his fine legal
ability, but a high sense of
integrity and responsibility and
a fine conscience of service to
the public.
All citizens are solicited to

Judge Benscoe is elected to the
