Friedgood of LaSalle Blvd. announce the marriage of their daughter, Shirley Elaine, to Dr. Alvin B. Lezell, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. Lezell of Dexter Blvd. The couple were married Sunday, March 12, at the Belcrest. It was a double ring ceremony, with Rabbi Joshua S. Sperka officiating. The bride's maid-of-honor was Miss Gerry Goodman of Pontiac, Mich. The bridesmaids were Miss Shirley Gessler, Miss Lorraine Sacks and Miss Alice Reizen. The best man was Pfc. Alex Weinberg. The ushers were the bride's brother, Charles, and the groom's brothers, Sam and Hy Lezell. The flower girl was Miss Annette Lezell, (laughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Lezell. A. reception was held at the Belcrest following the ceremony, and in the evening a dinner was given for the immediate family. The couple spent a week in Chicago. Dr. and Mrs. Lezell are making their home in Detroit at the present time. Dr. Lezell is in the United States Naval Reserve and is awaiting further orders.
