Jackson Day Dinner is the out-
standing social and political
gathering for all Democrats.
From all indications this din-
ner will be a success. Pledges
and reservations are coming in
daily and it is expected that at
least 1,000 Democrats will gath-

press themselves enthusiastically

Franklin D. Roosevelt. Ben Lev-

Jackson Day Dinner committee,

Robert Hannegan, the newly-
elected chairman of the Dew -

NEW YORK. — It is an annual
custom for leading orthodox rab-
bis from all sections of the
country to come to Jersey City
before Passover, to bake their
matzo shmurah at the famous

Manischewitz Matzo Bakery, but
this year the traditional cere-
mony took on special significance
when the baking of matzo shmu-
rah culminated in a spontaneous
demonstration for spiritual awak-
ening and a call to rally to the
aid of the millions of Jews in
war-torn Europe. Meeting in a
special assembly convened in the
Manischewitz Matzo Bakery, the
rabbis present, representing a
cross section of the nation's or-
thodox spiritual leadership, cli-

Constipated? Then here's an un- of immediate aid to brethren
solicited letter you'll want to read: across the seas.

"I WAS CONSTIPATED
FOR MANY YEARS!

"I'd

been troubled with common consti-
pation for many years. Was taking laxa-
tives and pills all the time, and feeling
very weak and run down. 3 months ago, I
began eating KELLOGG'S ALL-BRAN
daily. Now, I have a regular, natural
movement every morning, which helps me
feel my best!" Mr. Samuel D. Blank, 202
Kings Highway. Brooklyn, New York.

What is this seeming magic of
KELLOGG'S ALL-BRAN? Scien-
tists say it's because KELLOGG'S
ALL-BRAN can really "get at"
a common cause of constipa-
tion — namely, lack of sufficient
"cellulosic" elements in the diet.
KELLOGG'S ALL-BRAN is one
of Nature's most effective sources
of these elements, which help the
friendly colonic flora fluff up
and prepare the colonic wastes
for easy, natural elimination.
KELLOGG'S ALL-BRAN is not
a purgative! Doesn't work by
"sweeping out." It's a gentle-act-
ing, "regulating" food!
If you have constipation of this
type, eat KELLOGG'S ALL-
BRAN or several ALL-BRAN
muffins regularly. Drink plenty of
water. See if you don't find lasting
