At Jewish Center

Plans are being completed for
the Passover Sedarim' for service-

members of the Armed Forces
stationed at any of the camps
located in or around Detroit are
being invited to attend the Serv-
ice Men's Sedarim, to be held
at the Jewish Community Center
on April 7-8. For those men or
women who prefer a private home
Seder, arrangements are being
made to place them with the
home hospitality list of private
families.
The Temple and Synagogue
Brotherhoods and Sisterhoods, the
Jewish War Veterans and other
interested organizations, are co-
operating to make this Passover
a memorable one for the men in
service.
Families who desire to be hosts
to service men and women for
the Passover Sedarim will please
note that no promise can be
made to supply all requests, or
even a small number of them.
Your postcard mailed to the Jew-

The Jewish Welfare Board
USO, whose offices are in the
USO Lounge at the Jewish Com-
munity Center, Woodward at
Holbrook, is inaugurating a
"clearing house" for service men
and women who are home on
furlough.
The function of this new serv-
ice is to inform members of our
armed forces when they return
home for a visit who among their
friends and acquaintances may
also be home at the same time.
Parents of service men and
women may also inform the clear-
ing house service of anticipated
furloughs of their sons and
daughters in advance, so that
this inforation may be relayed
to others.
They are asked to call Miss
Roslyn Rice, Madison 8400, and
inform her of their arrival; she
will then be able to tell them
how they can contact their
friends who may also be home
at that time.
