Baron To Open "Jewish Life Today" Lectures Feb. 14 of future programs are now be- ing considered by the committe and will be ttnnounced shortly. Professor Baron of New York, who is the author of a t hree- v dual e book, "The History o f the Jewish Community," will con- sider the historical aspects as Well as the present problems it, his talk on Jewish leadership. In- cluded will be an analysis of the factors in the national and local scene contributing toward these problems. Seminars with local leaders arc being planned to further discuss the subjects which will be raised by the visiting lecturers. A num- ber of organizations have been invited to participate in the plan- ning and promotion of the lec- ture series. Organizations may reserve a block of 50 tickets a, a discount. Inaugurating the series "Mo- mentous Decisions Con fronting; Jewish Life Today," Professor Salo \V. Baron will appear at Jewish Community Cem el. on Monday evening, Feb. 14. Pro- fessor Baron's subject in this new public lecture series is "The Crisis in American Jewish Lead- ership", According. to Rabbi Leon Fram, chairman of the Center's Adult Education Committee, this lec- ture series will deal with sonic of the most urgent • problems confronting the Jews today.
