Mizrachi Plans 32nd
Anniversary Affair

The Mizrachi organization of
Detroit will celebrate the 32nd
anniversary of the establishment
of the movement in this country,
with appropriate ceremonies at
the Shaarey Zedek Social Hall,
Sunday evening, Jan. 16. Daniel
Temchin, prominent local Miz-
rachi leader, has been chosen us
chairman of this celebration.
Negotiations are under way to
bring to the city one of the great
religious personalities for this
occasion. Other preparations arc
being made that the celebration
be an outstanding event in this
community.
Sol B. Edelman, vice president
and chairman of the synagogue
committee of the local Mizrachi,
has participated in important
synagogue activities during the
past week. He lined up the Nu-
such Ari synagogue with its
president, William Axlerod, to
take an active part in Mizrachi
work. Rabbi Jacob Ungar has
also rendered important service
to Mizrachi during the past week.
