Meet at Center Nov. 7
Migdal Labor Zionists will hold
an open meeting at the Jewish
Community Center Sunday, Nov.
7, at 8:00 p. m. The discussion
will revolve around an analysis of
Migdal, summaries of its work in
the past year, programs of work
for the coming year, strengths
and weaknesses of the organiza-
tion, which has now been in ex-
istence for approximately one
year.
The main purposes of the eve-
ning will be to settle Migdal
more firmly in its niche in the
community and to provide an
opportunity for interested friends
and would-be friends to become
acquainted with the aims and
workings of this group.
Migdal extends a cordial in-
vitation to all interested to take
part in and to contribute to the
discussion, and to learn just what
the group is doing.
Mizrachi Women Denounce
American Jewish Committee
NEW YORK (WNS).—The ex-
ecutive board of the Mizrachi
Women's Organization of America
last week denounced the with-
drawal of the American Jewish
Committee from the conference as
"sabotage against the religious
and national aspirations of the
millions of humiliated Jews in
Axis-dominated territories."
Mrs. Samuel Goldstein, national
president of the Mizrachi Worn-
ens Organiztion, declared in a
statement to its 140 chapters that
the action of the American Jew-
ish Committee would be further
considered and "receive the treat-
ment it deserves" at the eigh-
teenth annual convention.
