College, anxious to cooperate in
every way, sent its chef and its
entire kitchen equipment to the
farms so that the students could
be assured of kosher food. The
boys held prayer services three
times a day and observed the
Sabbath according to traditional
Jewish law. The War Manpower
Commission, under whose direc-

the farms, has indicated great
satisfaction with the results.
Jewish leaders, both rabbinical
and lay, inspired by love of
learning, devoted to Torah, moti-
vated by the need to disseminate
truth through knowledge, have
created the Hebrew Theological
College. They and other far-
visioned men and women are
keenly aware of the augmented
need for the inspiration, the cul-
ture, and the religious truths
which stem from the College as
a center of traditional Jewish
life. They will foin together to
strengthen the position of the
Hebrew Theological College as a
constructive religious force in to-
day's world and as a foundation
for ever more positive religious
values in days to come.
